Monster Messenger

We met local artist Ealish Wilson on a Timbuk2 factory tour during SF Made Week in May this year. As an artist, Ealish was energized by the tour and full of ideas on what she could create using a Timbuk2 messenger as a canvas. Always eager for a wacky project, we gave Ealish a Timbuk2 artist canvas messenger — a messenger made out of plain white artist canvas — and told her to go to town. And that she did!

Ealish created our first Big Bird Messenger. Now on display in our San Francisco retail store (506 Hayes Valley), Big Bird uses photography, sublimation processes, zip types, stenciling, painting, pleating, and a whole lotta love. Learn more about how Ealish created this monster here, learn more about the stunning textiles she creates here, and cheers to local creation!

Fantastic! Put it in the window and watch it spin! People will flock into the store, if only to say “what’s that??”

  2. Ann wilson says:

What fun and such an unusual product.
    Would love one myself.
