Last weekend, June 7, 8, on the North Shore of Vancouver in beautiful British Columbia, the North Vancouver MEC store hosted their not-1-but-2-day Bikefest at Inter River Park, just 8 mile north of downtown Vancouver. Complete with BMX races, AcroBag demonstrations, a bike fit clinic, live music and tater tot kiddie activities, over 600 folks came out and got RAD. We were stoked to be there too, spreading the love of Timbuk2 and meeting new and long time fans alike!
So what was is up at the Timbk2 tent? In addition to showing off some of newest Timbuk2 bike provisions at MEC, like the top tube attaching Goody Box and ultra light commute Raider pack, we were also one of the stops on the MEC Bikefest passport….
…and held a contest of our own at the booth, where we called out 1 random winner per hour.
For those of ya’s in North Vancouver, hope y’all had fun and had a chance to meet Andrea & Jennie of Timbuk2. But worry not Vancouverites: the downtown Vancouver Bikefest happens THIS Saturday, June 14 at Athlete’s Village. Map HERE. For more information about what’s going down, including Gold Sprints, bike raffle, Timbuk2 raffle AND the legendary MEC gear swap (YUP!) peep their event page HERE.
See you on the bike!
